Clinical Sales Managers: Selling Power Discusses CRM Trends….

What is a CRM?
CRM (customer relationship management) is an information industry term for methodologies, software, and usually Internet capabilities that help companies manage customer relationships in an organized way.
Some of the many benefits it offers are:  (1) it enables product management departments to identify and target customers, manage campaigns, and generate quality leads; (TWO) it streamlines information and processes for sales and accounting to more easily share information; (3) it’s a database tool for individualizing relationships with customers, keeping track of needs, spending, and service.  All in one easily accessible system.
Most of my clients are using Salesforce.com for a CRM or a home brew Oracle system.  A quality company will invest in this type of software. This may be a nice question to ask in an interview.
Selling Power magazine recently ran an article on 8 Trends That Are Driving CRM’s Future  that will be worthy reading for any sales manager in pharma revenue, pharma sales, biotechnology sales, clinical sales, clinical diagnostics sales, hospital equipment sales, surgical supplies sales, imaging sales, laboratory sales, DNA products sales, cellular and molecular products sales, and pharma device sales.
